Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Jennifer Hannig is a professor at the Department of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Data Processing (MND) at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen – University of Applied Sciences in Friedberg and the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence (hessian.AI). In 2024, she received a grant from the Federal Minister of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) to establish the junior research group “TimeXAI: Explainable Artificial Intelligence for Time Series”.

Jennifer obtained her Bachelor’s (2011) and Master’s (2013) Degrees in Bionformatics and completed her Ph.D. in lab of Prof. Ina Koch and Ivan Đikić at the Goethe University Frankfurt.
